Charity auction on Catawiki in tribute to Raymond Poulidor with Merci Poupou

As part of the 2025 Tour de France, Catawiki is partnering with the Merci Poupou initiative, led by the Alpecin-Deceuninck team, to pay tribute to Raymond Poulidor, an iconic figure in cycling. This fifth edition coincides with the 60th anniversary of Poulidor's victory on the Mont Ventoux stage in 1965 and the fifth anniversary of the Merci Poupou project.

To mark this event, a special jersey, designed in collaboration with KALAS, features the colors of the 1976 Gan–Mercier–Hutchinson team. This jersey was worn by the riders during the rest day outing on July 21, before the stage between Montpellier and Mont Ventoux.

An auction for a charitable cause

Since July 24, Catawiki is offering a charity auction featuring exclusive Merci Poupou-related items. All funds raised will be donated to charities supporting youth sports, the rehabilitation of injured athletes, and the fight against cancer, including Kom op tegen Kanker.

Among the articles offered:

  • Official Merci Poupou jerseys worn and signed by the runners.
  • Limited edition Oakley sunglasses.
  • ABUS special edition bicycle locks.

This sale celebrates the heritagetagRaymond Poulidor's work while supporting solidarity initiatives. Since 2021, Merci Poupou has raised more than €500, and Catawiki is honored to contribute to this effort. Bidding is open on the platform Catawiki, offering cycling and collecting enthusiasts an opportunity to acquire unique items while supporting important causes.
