Embrunman 2025: Louis Richard achieves a historic double, Alanis Siffert shines

This Friday, August 15, 2025, Embrun vibrated to the sound of the Embrunman, one of the most demanding challenges in long-distance triathlon. The athletes faced a spectacular course from Lake Serre-Ponçon to the Col de l'Izoard, including a 3,8 km swim, a 188 km bike ride with over 5 m of elevation gain, and a 000 km marathon.

Louis Richard made history by winning a consecutive double, his second title in 9:17:39, becoming the first Frenchman to achieve this feat. In the women's race, Swiss Alanis Siffert caused a surprise by dominating the swim from the start to win in 10:28:19 in her first participation. These exceptional performances enrich the Embrunman legend.
