Garmin refines its Rally power meter pedals, and Miche introduces a more affordable wheel range. Met offers a limited edition of its helmet, FFWD announces improvements, and Trek reveals its first gravel e-bike. On the clothing side, Q36.5 launches its fall/winter collection, combining innovation and performance.
Factor Bikes Announces New Gravel Bike, the Aluto
This frame complements the Ostro Gravel and offers endurance riders a high-performance alternative for mixed terrain while reinforcing Factor's commitment to performance gravel. Thanks to its balanced geometry, the bike has been optimized around 45mm tires, with a maximum clearance of 47mm at the rear and 52mm at the front. Every aspect of the geometry has been designed to ensure handling that retains the precision of the Ostro Gravel, but is geared towards long distances.
Compared to the Ostro Gravel, the Aluto features a slightly steeper head angle and similarly short chainstays to maintain a shorter wheelbase and improve agility. The lowered bottom bracket shifts the center of gravity lower, stabilizing the bike and balancing the shorter wheelbase, while improving control over varied terrain. With a slightly higher stack than the Ostro Gravel, the Aluto offers greater adaptability to a wider range of riders, without compromising an ideal racing position.
The Aluto's two colorways, Raptor Blue and Quattro Grey, are inspired by the Dakar Rally, the world's most extreme off-road proving ground.
