BytagThe publication "Factor unveils the ONE: its bike of route the fastest ever designed"
Factor Bikes makes a big splash with the launch of Factor ONEa bicycle route that the British brand presents as the fastest in the world under UCI rulesAn ambitious claim, supported by solid aerodynamic data… and a stage win in his very first WorldTour appearance at the Critérium du Dauphiné 2025where we had been able to see it as a prototype.
A bicycle born from a radical question: how far can we go?
Rather than evolving an existing model, Factor started from scratch. The goal: to push the speed of a UCI bike to the maximum regulatory limits. The engineers analyzed the new trends in modern cycling: more forward positions, narrow handlebars, shorter cranks, wider tires… The ONE incorporates all of this natively, without compromise.

Revolutionary aerodynamics with its bayonet fork
The ONE's visual signature is its bayonet fork combined with a front fairing shaped like a “chin”. This architecture, made possible by recent changes to UCI regulations, required hundreds of CFD iterations. The result: airflow control right at the front of the bike and extremely low drag, even when the wind angle exceeds 15°, a point at which most bikes lose efficiency.
Performances that surpass the competition
The figures announced by Factor illustrate the extent of the gap:
+ 8% compared toOSTRO VAM 2.0
~15% faster one Cervélo S5 (2024)
+ 22% face Specialized Tarmac SL8
Maintaining an advancetagand aerodynamics beyond 15° of crosswind
According to Factor, no other UCI-approved bike has achieved better results to date.

Reinvented ergonomics for modern positions
To allow riders to adopt more extreme positions without sacrificing stability, Factor has completely redesigned the directional interface:
The handlebars are no longer directly linked to the steering axis, which allows adjustments that were previously impossible.
The pilot's posttagThe integrated design eliminates the need for a traditional stem:
→ 5 lengths available (equivalent to 110 to 150 mm)
→ 3 riser heights
→ up to 15 mm adjustable spacers
→ 35 mm stack range perfectly aerodynamic.
Factor also adjusted the bottom bracket height to compensate for the use of shorter cranks and wider tires, thus regaining optimal stability.
